What do we wear?
Make sure your dancer is set to dance with us by having them wear enclosed sneakers! From there, we believe nothing frees us up to groove like feeling good. Let them wear their favourite outfit and they’ll be right at home from their very first class.
No matter what they wear our students always look fresh and we know they’ll tear it up on the dance floor. Plus, once they officially start up at Base181 each dancer receives their very own uniform top to be worn in class.
No worries about getting it separately - it’s included automatically with your membership!
How are payments taken ?
To make payments simpler for everyone, we offer our Peaceful Payment Membership Program. Our annual membership is broken down into easy monthly instalments so you always know exactly how much you’re paying and when you’re paying it.
No hidden charges. No hidden fees.
Not now, not ever.While other studios may slip in fees for specialty concert customs or extra events, that’s just not how we wanted to do business. You pay the price you signed up to pay. It’s that simple.
Can parents watch the class?
There’s nothing like seeing your dancer get in the zone. They focus, they have fun, and they flourish! These are truly special moments, and we do want you to share them with us.
But we found our students do better when they can be in the studio without distractions. We work through a variety of routines to help ease their separation anxieties and to support new students feel at home at the studio.
Because we know just how important it is for you as parents to see those moments, we keep you constantly updated with class photos and videos that you can download on our app.
That way, not only can you share their daily moments with friends and families, but you’ll also have memories to keep for a lifetime.
How many classes can we do a week?
Once your dancer starts moving, it’s on! We run multiple classes throughout the week for that very reason: we want them to have the freedom to move as much as they want.
Each program has great curriculum to encourage and foster coordination, agility, muscle memory, communication skills, and self-expression. And while we see most improvement in students who do 3 classes or more per week, it all depends on each student! So if your dancer has the spark and passion and is asking to keep moving and grooving, they’re always welcome down at Base181 .
